The shortlist

We selected one current panel from each researched priority brand. The two Australian-storefront models are physically similar enough for a closer comparison; the Mito and PlatinumLED models show what changes when an Australian buyer considers a US-priced international option.

Our conclusion

There is not enough comparable, independently measured performance data to name a universal best panel. For a buyer prioritising the lower checked price between the two tall local models, the Infraredi is the clearer starting point once its pre-order timing is confirmed. For someone prioritising BlockBlueLight’s broader manufacturer-listed wavelength set and longer product-page warranty—and willing to resolve contradictory source details—the PowerPanel warrants comparison.

The Mito and PlatinumLED models remain international options, not direct landed-price equivalents. Confirm checkout availability, conversion, tax, shipping and returns before treating their USD prices as cheaper.

Compare the two Australian models

Why irradiance is absent

Irradiance can be useful only with context: distance, instrument, measurement position and protocol. The checked manufacturer pages do not provide one clean, consistent set across these four models. Publishing the largest number would create false comparability, so PLT has deliberately left it out.
