How this publication currently handles information.
PLT has no user accounts, comments, contact forms, payments or advertising. The site is delivered as static pages. On the production site, PLT uses Google Analytics 4 to understand general site usage, acquisition and merchant-link interactions so we can improve content and the service. PLT sends no personal information in its custom merchant-click event parameters.
Links to merchants and scientific sources lead to other organisations. Their sites may collect information under their own terms and privacy notices; PLT does not control those practices.
The hosting provider may process standard technical request data, such as an IP address and user agent, under its own privacy policy. Google Analytics is provided by Google and may process analytics data under Google’s own terms and privacy information. PLT does not control those practices.
