Which masks should I consider?
Clearest currently available Australian option
Omnilux Contour Face
Consider if: you value a current Australian storefront, a clear price and established professional/platform context.
Main caveat: the relevant Omnilux studies are earlier platform evidence, not proof of identical current Contour Face hardware or outcomes.
$395.00 displayed AU price
Strongest exact-device evidence context
CurrentBody Skin LED Red Light Therapy Face Mask: Series 2
Consider if: you want the current Series 2 study record to be part of the decision, and can wait for Australian stock.
Main caveat: the Australian product was out of stock when checked, and the study was uncontrolled and manufacturer-presented.
$679.99 displayed AU price
Local fulfilment and regulatory context
BlockBlueLight Red Light Therapy Face Mask
Consider if: Australian fulfilment and a retailer-cited ARTG record matter to your shortlist.
Main caveat: the ARTG entry does not name the retail mask, and official warranty information conflicts.
$499.95 displayed AU price
Lower displayed price
LEREDD FEATHER-GLOW 260 LED Light Therapy Mask
Consider if: the lower checked Australian price and a flexible multi-wavelength format are important to you.
Main caveat: availability was unclear when checked and no device-specific clinical evidence was identified.
$379.00 displayed AU price
Comparison table
This table deliberately uses purchase and evidence-context fields that can be explained. Wavelengths and routines are manufacturer-reported. Irradiance, dose and LED count are not used as ranking columns because the available measurements and device geometries are not directly comparable.

Product-by-product trade-offs
Clearest currently available Australian option
Omnilux Contour Face
you value a current Australian storefront, a clear price and established professional/platform context. The displayed price was $395.00 in the Australian market record.
What limits the conclusion: the relevant Omnilux studies are earlier platform evidence, not proof of identical current Contour Face hardware or outcomes.
The earlier Omnilux facial studies are retained as predecessor/platform evidence. A shared brand or nominal wavelength does not establish identical hardware, output or outcomes for the current Contour Face.
Strongest exact-device evidence context
CurrentBody Skin LED Red Light Therapy Face Mask: Series 2
you want the current Series 2 study record to be part of the decision, and can wait for Australian stock. The displayed price was $679.99 in the Australian market record.
What limits the conclusion: the Australian product was out of stock when checked, and the study was uncontrolled and manufacturer-presented.
The Series 2 evidence record is exact-device evidence, but it describes an uncontrolled before-and-after study. It is useful context, not independent proof that the product will produce a particular result.
Local fulfilment and regulatory context
BlockBlueLight Red Light Therapy Face Mask
Australian fulfilment and a retailer-cited ARTG record matter to your shortlist. The displayed price was $499.95 in the Australian market record.
What limits the conclusion: the ARTG entry does not name the retail mask, and official warranty information conflicts.
ARTG wording: the retailer cites ARTG 510468. The official entry describes an active Class IIa home-use cosmetic phototherapy system sponsored by Apexmed Service Pty Ltd and manufactured by Shenzhen Sungrow LED Technology Co Ltd. The public ARTG record does not name this retail model, so PLT does not present the connection as exact model confirmation or TGA endorsement.
Lower displayed price
LEREDD FEATHER-GLOW 260 LED Light Therapy Mask
the lower checked Australian price and a flexible multi-wavelength format are important to you. The displayed price was $379.00 in the Australian market record.
What limits the conclusion: availability was unclear when checked and no device-specific clinical evidence was identified.
The published 470/520/660/940nm and irradiance values remain manufacturer claims. PLT identified no device-specific clinical evidence for this model.
How to think about value
The displayed prices span a meaningful range, but price is not an efficacy score. A higher price may buy a different routine, support path or evidence context; it does not automatically establish better outcomes. Omnilux currently combines the clearest available Australian purchase path with the lowest price among the clearly available products in this set. LEREDD is cheaper on the displayed price but has unresolved availability. CurrentBody is more expensive and out of stock, while BlockBlueLight’s local and regulatory context comes with unresolved warranty and model-scope questions.
Evidence and specifications are different questions
The evidence hierarchy matters: exact-device evidence is more directly relevant than predecessor/platform evidence; similar protocol or geometry is a weaker transfer; wavelength-only relevance is weaker again; and general PBM evidence should not be presented as evidence for a particular mask. Even exact-device evidence can have limitations in study design, funding, reporting and follow-up.
None of the four products has been PLT-tested. The household masks discussed in PLT’s panel-versus-mask guide provide usability context only, not evidence for any product here. Read the facial-skin evidence synthesis for what human studies do and do not establish.
Why irradiance is not ranked
Some manufacturers publish irradiance values, but the records here do not provide a common measurement distance, instrument, calibration method, measurement position or spatial average. A centre reading from one mask cannot be treated as equivalent to an area-representative reading from another. The dose, irradiance, distance and time guide explains the problem in detail.
Australian buying context
Before ordering, check the exact current model, stock state, delivery terms, warranty and returns at the merchant. Regulatory language is a separate question from clinical evidence: use PLT’s Australian TGA, ARTG and RCM guide to interpret terms such as ARTG, RCM, CE, FDA and “medical grade”.
For the broader purchase decision—including panel alternatives, imported products and landed-cost questions—see the Australian buying guide. The panel-versus-mask guide covers when a mask’s face-specific routine may suit you better than a panel.
Method and disclosure
PLT included the four products approved by its research decision and did not create a score or commission-based order. Facts are rendered from canonical product records, with source and verification dates retained in the underlying data. Manufacturer claims remain manufacturer claims; PLT has not physically tested these products.
PLT currently has no active affiliate relationships for these products. The links above are ordinary merchant links. If an affiliate relationship is approved later, the destination and disclosure will be changed centrally and the editorial comparison will not be rewritten to favour commission.
